Follow these steps to get Beautify running in your HDRP scene in under 5 minutes.
Steps
- Import the package — import Beautify 3 HDRP from the Unity Asset Store via the Package Manager.
- Verify HDRP is configured — ensure an HDRP Asset is assigned in Edit > Project Settings > Graphics and Quality.
- Register Beautify in the HDRP Asset — select your HDRP Asset, scroll to After Post-Processing custom passes, and add Beautify to the list.
- Create or select a Volume — use an existing Global Volume in your scene, or create one via GameObject > Volume > Global Volume.
- Add Beautify override — in the Volume's Profile, click Add Override and select Beautify under Post-processing.
- Enable effects — check the override toggles for the effects you want (e.g., Sharpen, Bloom) and adjust their values.
- Enter Play mode — press Play and observe the enhanced visuals in the Game view.
Tip: Enable Compare Mode in the Beautify override to see a before/after split view of your scene.
