Additional setup steps required when using Trails FX with the Universal Render Pipeline (URP).

URP Configuration

Opaque Texture (for Space Distortion effect)Select your URP Renderer Asset > enable Opaque Texture in the General section.

Demo Scene Materials

The included demo scene uses Built-in RP materials. To use it with URP:

  1. Open the demo scene.
  2. Go to Edit > Rendering > Materials > Convert Built-in Materials to URP.
  3. Select all materials in the scene and convert them.
Note: Trail effect shaders are pipeline-aware and do not need manual conversion — only the demo scene materials require this step.
