Places

Places lets you save and recall up to 20 camera viewpoints per scene. Think of them as spatial bookmarks for your Scene View camera.

Bookmark Slots

Each scene has 20 bookmark slots. Each slot stores the camera pivot position, rotation, and zoom level.

Keyboard Shortcuts

ActionShortcut
Save bookmark 1-9Alt+Shift+1 through Alt+Shift+9
Recall bookmark 1-9Alt+1 through Alt+9
Open Places windowCtrl+Shift+P

Slots 10 through 20 can be managed from the Places window directly.

Toolbar Access

The Scene Pilot Pro toolbar includes a Places dropdown listing all saved bookmarks. Click any entry to recall that viewpoint instantly. A visual notification confirms the camera jump.

Renaming Bookmarks

Bookmarks are auto-labeled "Place 1" through "Place 20". You can rename them to something descriptive (e.g., "Boss Arena", "Start Zone") from the Places window.

Cycling Through Places

The Back/Forward buttons in the Scene Pilot Pro toolbar overlay cycle through your saved bookmarks in order. The list wraps around, so you can loop continuously through all saved places.

Note - These overlay buttons navigate between camera bookmarks. For navigating between object selections (browser-style), see Navigation Buttons in the main toolbar.

Places Window

The Places window (Ctrl+Shift+P) shows all bookmarks with thumbnail previews. Switch between Grid and List view using the toolbar toggle. Right-click a bookmark for options: Rename, Refresh thumbnail, or Delete.

Persistence

Bookmark data is stored per scene in ProjectSettings/ScenePilotPro/bookmarks/. Include this folder in version control to share bookmarks with your team.
