I would like to write my own inventory without the item definition.
How, when and where does the voxel generate an item?
How built a voxel, when you Built it out of the inventory??

Hi,

In Voxel Play, Item Definitions are just an object that represent a certain amount of a voxel definition type.
The Voxel Play Player component uses ItemDefinitions as a way to manage inventory. In this player component, an inventory item is just something (a voxel, model or gameobject) that can be part of the inventory.

Please check the following help pages to learn more about the inventory, console and UI in general and how you can replace or extend the implementation given by Voxel Play. Please note that the inventory and UI are coupled with the first person controller provided by the asset. However you can always use your own character controller and implement the UI on your own. At the end of the day, these components just use the Voxel Play API listed in the documentation:

- Custom Player component: https://kronnect.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/42000065703
- Custom UI (inventory, console and/or status bar): https://kronnect.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/42000064642

I ask differently. what method is used to build a voxel?
and in which method, the item will be placed after I have dismantled a voxel?

VoxelPlace and VoxelDestroy methods.
When a voxel is destroyed, it can drop recoverable voxels if the voxel definitionís drop properties are set.
