Unity - Target size changes when object rotates
« on: May 02, 2021, 11:57:53 AM »
Hi,
I am not sure if this has been asked already, I could not find anything related so I am creating this new topic.

I am working with Unity 2020.3.5.
I have an HighlightEffect assigned to a game object, and I noticed that the size of the target is changing when the parent object rotation changes.
I set both 'targetFXInitialScale' and 'targetFXEndScale' to the same value, but can't get around this. I also assigned a child transform to the parent GameObject and adjusted its localRotation to try to change this behaviour, but that did not work.

Is there any known way to get a constant size of the target?

Hi,

Added to version 6.2. Disable the option "Scale To Object Bounds" under Target FX to keep the same size regardless of renderer bounds.
