TGS as alternate for Unity's Official Tilemap
« on: February 17, 2020, 07:24:33 PM »
Hi there,

I'm an old TGS user and love it and expereinced as a 2D Flat(Top down) way.
However i have a 2D isometric project requirement where Unity's Tilemap is required, but i want to use TGS.

So based on Tilemap features, can i expect these features in TGS too?

Please advise

Specifically, which features are you looking for? Can you link some examples / videos or reference? Thank you.

i think its about 2d isometric grid. like in unity tutor https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DsKCJsEzSA

at this moment its only frontal 2d grid in TGS.

will be cool if 2d iso grid  wiil appear some day

TGS should be compatible with orthographic camera so isometric grids should be feasible.
