Is there any chance to get this working with HDRP?

Hi Martin,
Can't say atm because HDRP is under development - it could work fine today and stop working tomorrow. We'll wait until HDRP is out to support it.

Oh, too sad. I thought with HDRP being pretty far in Beta you might start jumping the train. Haven't tried, but just interested for an upcoming project: is LDRP  working?

Most of it should work out of the box as some styles are unlit. We've started supporting LWRP across the assets (ie. WMSK beta supports it 90%).
In my experience, "far in beta" is not enough - they still can introduce breaking changes (which they did in LWRP even after launching it).
LWRP support is around the corner for Globe Edition as well.
